HOLIDAY PIGS IN A BLANKET WREATH
1 tube refrigerated crescent rolls
24 mini hotdogs
2 eggs lightly beaten
1 jar Emily G’s Roasted Red Pepper Jam
2 t poppy seeds (optional)
Preheat oven to 375° and line a large baking pan with parchment paper. Slice crescent rolls lengthwise into thirds. Place a mini hotdog on the thick end of the triangle and roll up. Arrange the pigs in a blanket, side by side, in a circle on the baking sheet. They should be barely touching. In a small bowl combine lightly beaten eggs and poppy seeds. Brush tops of crescent rolls with the egg wash. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the crescents are golden. Let cool for 15 minutes. Lay rosemary sprigs around the inside of the wreath and place a small bowl filled with jam in the center.
